Abstract
Cyclo-oxygenase-type-2 (COX-2) enzyme is fundamental for nephrogenesis, upr egulated on fetal membranes and myometrium at parturition. Fetal COX-2 inhi bition, due to maternal nimesulide assumption, can be responsible for neona tal chronic renal failure.
