The crystal of 9,9-dipropyl-9,10-dihydroacridin-10-yloxyl exhibited a posit
ive Weiss constant (+0.77 K) due to a 3-D network of ferromagnetic interact
ions. The crystal of 6,6-bis(p-ethylphenyl)-5,6-dihydrophenanthridin-5-ylox
yl was revealed to possess a ferromagnetic dimer structure with 2J/k(B)= +3
.5 K. Several bisbiphenylyl nib-oxide radicals showed ferromagnetic interac
tion.
