Abstract
Primary and secondary tetrahydropyranyl ethers are efficiently converted to the corresponding carbonyl compounds using clay supported [CS(NO3)(3)](2)C rO4 and [Ce(NO3)(3)](3)HIO6 in dichloromethane.
