Abstract
A triclinic modification of [In(SePh)(3)](infinity) has been structurally c haracterized by X-ray diffraction, demonstrating that it is chemically dist inct from a previously reported monoclinic form. Thus, triclinic [In(SePh)( 3)](infinity) is crystallographically ordered and contains five-coordinate trigonal bipyramidal indium centers with asymmetrically bridging [SePh] lig ands, whereas the monoclinic form is disordered and contains six-coordinate octahedral indium centers with symmetrically bridging [SePh] ligands.
