Abstract
In this paper, we obtain equivalent conditions relating oblique projections to biorthogonal Riesz bases and angles between closed linear subspaces of a Hilbert space. We also prove an extension theorem in the biorthogonal set ting, which leads to biorthogonal multiwavelets.
