Introduction to plastic deformation by dislocation movements using analogies and the concept of energy

Some analogies for the dislocations movement are mathematically developed. Our approach is based on the conservation energy principle and in the Newto n second law as well as the usual way to introduce such concepts. The use o f well choosed analogies allows to obtain sound relationships between new c oncepts and concepts previously understood by the students.
