Abstract
1-[1-Bromo-2-benzoyl(2-thenoyl)vinly]-1,1-dimethylhydrazinium bromides were synthesized by the reactions of 1-aroyl-2-bromoacetylenes with N,N-dimethy lhydrazine in acetonitrile at 20 degrees C. The structure of 1-(2-benzoyl-1 -bromovinyl)-1,1-dimethylhydrazinium bromide was established by X-ray diffr action analysis.
