Abstract
Monocyclic 4'-Aza-L-Nucleosides in which the sugar ring oxygen is replaced with a nitrogen atom are synthesized from D-lyxose. The configurational ass ignments of the structures of newly derived compounds were established by 1 D and 2D H-1 NMR experiments. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights res erved.
