Abstract
The title keto acid, C20H26O3, forms translational carboxyl-ketone hydrogen -bonding catemers [O ... O = 2.665(3)Angstrom]. The cell contains two molec ules screw-related in b, with opposite end-to-end orientation, yielding two parallel, counterdirectional screw-related hydrogen-bonding chains. Interm olecular C-H ... O = C close contacts to the carboxyl group were found, inv olving three different neighboring molecules.
