Abstract
Integrated myocardial revascularization combines the advantages of angiopla sty, stenting, and minimally invasive surgery to revascularize patients wit h multivessel corollary artery disease without cardiopulmonary bypass. This pilot study showed that a new same-day management strategy, consisting of percutaneous coronary intervention followed immediately by minimally invasi ve surgery, was feasible and provided complete all-arterial revascularizati on with minimal surgical trauma, short hospital stay, and excellent early t herapeutic result in 14 patients with multivessel coronary disease.
