S. Bilgic et N. Caliskan, The effect of N-(1-toluidine) salicylaldimine on the corrosion of austenitic chromium-nickel steel, APPL SURF S, 152(1-2), 1999, pp. 107-114
In this study, the corrosion inhibition of austenitic chromium-nickel steel
in acidic medium containing various concentrations of N-(1-toluidine) sali
cylaldimine was investigated with the help of potentiodynamic current-poten
tial curves in the temperature range of 298-338 K. It is seen that for the
same inhibitor concentration, the rise in temperature causes positive shift
in the corrosion potentials and increase in the corrosion rates. It was sh
own that adsorption is consistent with the Temkin isotherm for 298 K and th
e Frumkin isotherm for other temperatures. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. h
