Abstract
LC-MS has become an important tool in all areas of drug discovery and devel opment within pharmaceutical industry. It is very suitable when searching f or impurities in drugs, such as reaction byproducts or degradation products . Various strategies for the identification of drug impurities are critical ly evaluated. In addition, the potential of CE-MS in impurity profiling is discussed.
