Abstract
In: this review we show the synthetic utility of acetylacetonatogold comple xes as reagents for preparing gold(III) complexes with C, N and O donor lig ands and gold(I) complexes with phosphorus ylide, methanide, methanediide, sulfur ylide, amino, amido, nitrido alkyl, phosphido, thiolato, hydrosulfid o, trithiocarbonato, dithiocarbamato, 1,1 dithiolato and alkynyl (including ethynyl) ligands.
