Abstract
Antisense technology provides a high-throughput and systematic approach to drug target validation and gene function discovery. In combination with oth er emerging technologies (such as microarrays), this technology will enable , efficient evaluation of the sequence data generated by the Human Genome P roject. The authors review recent advances in the antisense field and discu ss the potential use of antisense technology for functional genomics.
