Abstract
Fibrotic myopathy of the horse is an uncommon condition that has been descr ibed int he semitendinosus muscle. This paper describes a case of bilateral fibrotic myopathy of the semimembranosus muscle in a horse. The clinical e xamination, pathologic findings, diagnostic procedures, surgical treatment by partial myectomy, and outcome are reported.
