Abstract
A corrected expression for the chemical potential of species in a mixture o f hard spheres is presented. This expression arises from an equation of sta te, which meets the limits of ideal gas and close packing of hard spheres. The results obtained from the new form are compared with those obtained wit h the MCSL equation. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
