Abstract
The reaction of the title compound with anisaldehyde, 5-aminotetrazole mono hydrate (and/or urea) in presence of HCl gas in n-butanol afforded the bnez othiopyranopyrimidines (4,8). The reaction with anisaldehyde in presence of HCl gas in n-butanol resulted in the formation of the bis-thiochrom-2-ene- 4-one (9).
