Abstract
1,3- and 1,4-bis (1,3,4-oxadiazole-5(4H)-thione-7-yl) benzenes 2m,p, readil y react with aryl aldehydes to give 1,3- and 1,4- benzene dicarboxylic acid bis (arylmethylene)dihydrazides 4m(a-e) and 4p(a-e). A mechanism was propo sed.
