Abstract
Based on the available experimental data, thermodynamic assessment of the B a-Y-O system was carried out. A thermodynamic model of liquids was used to calculate the liquidus of this system. The phase diagram of the BaO-Y2O3 sy stem in an inert atmosphere and at an oxygen pressure of 21 kPa was calcula ted. The results were compared with available experimental data.
