Abstract
In experiments with proteins of molecular weights around 100 kDa the implem entation of [N-15,H-1]-TROSY-elements in [N-15]-constant-time triple resona nce experiments yields sensitivity enhancements of one to two orders of mag nitude. An additional gain of 10 to 20% may be obtained with the use of `se nsitivity enhancement elements'. This paper describes a novel sensitivity e nhancement scheme which is based on concatenation of the C-13(alpha) --> N- 15 magnetization transfer with the ST2-PT element, and which enables proper TROSY selection of the N-15 multiplet components.
