Abstract
By hydrolysis of (NH4)(2)TiF6 ammonium oxofluorotitanates (NH4)(3)TiOF5, (N H4)(2)TiOF4, and NH4TiOF3 were obtained and characterized, (NH4)(3)TiOF5 ha s been synthesized for the first time. New derivatives from NH4TiOF3 with l ower content of ammonium and fluorine are described. It was established tha t the titanium fluorocompound assumed as NH4TiF5 should be considered as a volatile oxofluorocomplex. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science S.A. All rights reserv ed.
