Synthesis and study of some new Co(II) polyphosphinates - Determination ofthe kinetic parameters for the thermal decomposition reactions

This paper reports the synthesis and study of some Co(II) coordination poly mers with the following acids as ligands: 2,8-dimethylphenoxyphosphinic, di phenyloxyphosphinacetic, diphenylthiophosphinacetic and dihexylphosphinic a cids. The study was performed by means of chemical analysis, gel chromatogr aphy, IR spectroscopy, ESR, X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetry and electri c resistance measurements. The experimental results were used to propose th e structural formulae of these compounds and to calculate the kinetic param eters of the thermal decomposition reactions.
