Abstract
A theoretical approach and numerical simulation of a microstrip away for du al linear polarization are presented. The radiating element consists of two electromagnetic coupled patches fed by two microstrips that allow us to ra diate two orthogonal polarized fields. The theoretical method is based on f ull-wave analysis (FWA) together with the method of moments (MoM): this app roach is finalized to the realization of a numerical code that glues the ma in features of the away, that is, high bandwidth and low cross-polarization levels.
