Abstract
We explore some of the consequences of our earlier determination of diffrac tive parton densities which are normalized to HERA data and assume hard sca ttering factorization. Comparisons with preliminary data from HERA and the Tevatron suggest that at low x and low Q(2), the proton's diffractive and i nclusive gluon and quark distribution functions have the same x dependence.
