Abstract
In this paper, the optimum phase matching and the effective nonlinear coeff icient of KTP and LBO type I and type II were calculated in continuously ch anging wavelength by the method using Miller rule and Sellmeier equation. T he difference of the effective nonlinear coefficients calculated by the pro posed method and the approximate method was discussed. The results show tha t the approximate calculations using the value of 1.064 mu m wavelength wil l yield greater errors in frequency conversion.
