We show how coherent single-electron turnstile action in a picosecond time
scale can be achieved with high probability in a triple-well semiconductor
structure by means of an applied time-dependent, long-wavelength electric h
eld. We demonstrate the turnstile behavior by studying the exact temporal e
volution of two electrons, including their Coulomb interaction, and conside
ring birth triplet and singlet states.
