Abstract
National Power is planning to build a 100MWh Regenesys energy storage plant at Didcot power station in the UK. The plant will occupy a compact site of less than 0.5 hectare, be housed in a low-rise building and, in respect of its energy storage capacity, will be the largest energy storage plant of i ts type in the world. Construction work will start in 1999 and will be comp leted late in 2000.
