Abstract
This study was intended ro investigate the predictive relationship be tween GRE scores and subsequent grade performance in graduate chemistry courses. Records were evaluated for 145 graduate students in a chemistry program. H igher GRE scores were significantly correlated with higher grades in severa l specific courses. These results indicate that, in some instances, GRE sco res significantly predict the graduate course performance of chemistry stud ents.
