Abstract
The electrical characterization of tin oxide and mixed tin oxide-manganese oxide (molar proportion 10/1) layers prepared by the electrostatic spray de position is presented for different temperatures and concentrations of hydr ogen in nitrogen. For this Taguchi-type H-2-sensor, three different contact electrodes were used: platinum, palladium and gold. The hydrogen response is very similar by changing the electrode material. All the tin oxide-manga nese oxide (10/1) layers present the better sensitivity for hydrogen, the s ame electrical equivalent circuit, and a similar activation energy value.
