Abstract
Research was conducted to determine whether the snakeweed flower head weevi l, Anthonomus tenuis Fall, showed either feeding differences or differentia l larval survival between broom snakeweed, Gutierrezia sarothrae (Pursh) Sk inners, and threadleaf snakeweed, G. microcephala (DC) Gray. Results indica te that while adult weevils feed on both species, larvae are found only in the seed heads of broom snakeweed.
