Abstract
Various 2-substituted cyclopropanediylbis(phosphonates) were easily and rap idly prepared under mild conditions in acetonitrile, by electrolysing tetra ethyl dichloromethylbis(phosphonate) in the presence of Michael accepters i n a two-compartment cell. A particular mechanism was proposed in the case o f methyl acrylate.
