Abstract
Thermomagnetometry (TM) with modulated temperature has been employed to stu dy the dynamics of the nanophase forming from amorphous alloys, A sinusoida l type of modulation in combination with saw-tooth and quasi-isothermal all ow for separation reversible and irreversible processes during crystallizat ion in the regions of the Curie temperature of precursor glasses T-c(am(1)) , the remainder of amorphous phase T-c(am(2)) and bcc nanophase T-c(n-Fe). The results are compared with those obtained from standard TM and different ial scanning calorimetry of Fe80B20 and Fe86B14 alloys. (C) 1999 Elsevier S cience B.V. All rights reserved.
