Abstract
Physico-chemical factors influencing the catalytic activity of hemoproteins , in particular, cytochromes P450, used in biosensors and bioreactors, are considered. The author's data on the preparation of semisynthetic hemoprote ins based on cytochrome P450 2B4 and NADP-dependent cytochrome P450 reducta se are presented. The use of alternative electron sources (electrochemical and photochemical reduction) for the redox cycle of hemoproteins is discuss ed. The influence of temperature, pressure, organic solvents and chemical m odification of proteins on the efficiency of enzymic reactions catalysed by hemoproteins is analysed.
