Cestodes of the genus Soricinia (Cyclophyllidae, Hymenolepididae) from Holarctic region shrews

The morphology of Soricinia solicis (Baer, 1927) type species, S. quarta (K arpenko, 1983), and S. bargusinica Eltyshev 195 from the genus Soricinia Sp assky, Spasskaja, 1954 is described based on the original material from shr ews of Siberia and the Far East. The species S. soricis and S. quarta are r edescribed. The description of morphology of scolex, osmoregulatory and gen erative organs in mature and uterine segments is improved. The cestode stru cture is also described. Structures similar to rynchus rudiment, rostellum, rostellar bursa, and apical glandular organ are absent. Diagnosis of the g enus Soricinia is improved.
