A. Corusic et al., Analysis of some prognostic parameters in patients with invasive cervical carcinoma in relation to the modality of treatment, 7TH BIENNIAL MEETING OF THE INTERNATIONAL GYNECOLOGIC CANCER SOCIETY, 1999, pp. 367-370
We analysed survival of 113 patients with invasive cervical carcinoma who h
ave been treated in period 1980-1995. in relation to following prognostic p
arameters: histological type, depth of invasion, limphocapillary spaces inv
olvement (LCSI), clinical stage and pelvic limph node metastases (LNM). Sig
nificant difference in the survival length we have found in relation to cli
nical stage, depth of invasion and limph nodes metastasis. The best cut-off
value for prognosis according to the depth of invasion was 8 mm (p< 0,001)
.
