Abstract
Radiologic imaging of lymph nodes has a low sensitivity-sensibility. To val idate the accuracy of intraoperative frozen section analysis (IFSA) on lymp h nodes we enrolled 50 patients with uterine cancer who underwent IFSA of e xternal iliac, superficial obturator and interiliac nodal groups. Median ti me required for IFSA was 20 minutes (range, 16-22). The sensitivity, the sp ecificity and the accuracy of the procedure were 92%, 100% and 98%, respect ively.
