Abstract
The treatment with estradiol valerate (EV) plus cyproterone acetate (CPA) i s capable of improving the majority of psychological symptoms, evaluated by a validated psychometric scale (SCL-90), in postmenopausal women (PMW). Th e treatment with estradiol (E2) shows to be less efficient than that with E V+CPA. These results suggest that CPA enhances the neuronal activity of est rogens.
