Abstract
To assess the lipid profile changes resulting from Hormone Replacement Ther apy (HRT), in postmenopausal women with different risk profile for cardiova scular disease (CVD), total cholesterol (TC), HDL-cholesterol (HDL-C), LDL- cholesterol (LDL-C) and triglycerides (TG) were evaluated, using a cross-se ctional analysis in 3031 postmenopausal women enrolled at December 1997 in the Italian ICARUS study.
