Abstract
A model for the kinetics of chemiluminescence in the Ru(bipy)(3)(2+)/Ru(phe n)(3)(2+) - C2O42-- Ce-IV system has been established according to the mech anism of the reactions. It was used not only to describe the kinetics of ch emiluminescence, but also to calculate the rate constants for rise (r) and decay (f) of the time - dependent chemiluminescence profile, the maximal in tensity (I-max) and the time required to reach maximal intensity (t(max)). The maximal intensity and the area under the I - t curve can be used for th e quantitative analysis.
