Abstract
The current used zirconium-platinum system phase diagram is based on experi mental results obtained by Kendall et al, [1] essentially in the zirconium- rich zone. The thermodynamic modelling of the equilibrium phases in the reg ion between 0 and 60 at. % pt is presented in this work. We have taken into account Kendall's and other published data as well as experimental results of the present authors, in order to calculate and draw the temperature-ato mic percent platinum composition (T-x) equilibrium phase diagram.
