Abstract
Studies on the cost effective purification method is very much essential fo r the industrially important enzyme like protease. The effects of different parameters studied on purification efficiency by non-conventional methods. The first process based on the adsorption property of activated charcoal a nd the next process was treatment with H2O2 followed by acetone precipitati on. In this way about 65.5% of protease recovery with 4.5 fold purification was achieved. Based on laboratory data scaled up studies were made.
