A method for determination of 2,5-dimethylaniline is proposed. The procedur
e enables both spectrophotometrical and voltammetric measurements. The spec
trophotometrical determination at lambda(max) = 385.8 nm is possible for co
ncentrations up to 1.25 x 10(-6) mol l(-1) The voltammetric method takes mo
re time, however, due to the adsorptive enrichment of the substrate it is p
ossible to determine concentrations in the range of 10(-7) mol l(-1)). In t
he paper the optimal conditions and parameters for the determination are su
ggested.
