Continuous pressure filter with rotating disks and cake thickness limitation by scrapers

In many chemical processes it is necessary to separate finely dispersed sol ids-liquid systems in order to obtain either the regenerated solids or the solid-free liquid. This separation process is often performed as a continuo us operation to ensure an uninterrupted production process and a high effic iency. In this study, the results of laboratory-scale filtration experiment s are presented.
