Abstract
An HPLC method based on a Prodigy ODS2 column with a mobile phase containin g phosphate buffer, tetrabutylammonium hydrogen sulfate (TBA) and an aceton itrile gradient was optimized for the determination of erythromycin in dela yed-release capsules. A central composite face-centered (CCF) factorial des ign was used with the factors pH, concentration of TEA and gradient slope. The method could separate erythromycin A from 7 related erythromycins.
