We report the case history of a patient who presented with symptoms and sig
ns suggestive of a left cerebellopontine tumour. He underwent an explorator
y posterior fossa craniotomy, which revealed metastatic adenocarcinoma. Des
pite intensive investigation, a primary site was not located and the patien
t received cranial irradiation. The patient re-presented 2 years later with
further symptoms from a metastasis in the right cerebellopontine angle. He
refused further intervention.
