The comparative analysis of the influence of the effect of non-linear mass
transfer and the Marangoni effect on the mass transfer kinetics has been do
ne. Co-current two-phase (gas and liquid) flow in the laminar boundary laye
r along the flat phase surface is considered. One of the components of the
first phase reacts with a component of the second phase. The chemical react
ion rate is of first order. The heat effect from the chemical reaction crea
tes a temperature gradient, i. e. the mass transfer together with a heat tr
ansfer can be observed. Non-linear mass transfer and Marangoni effect are r
esults of a large concentration gradient and interfacial tension gradient.
The data for heat and mass transfer coefficients are obtained.
