Subspace techniques became in recent years a popular tool for blind identif
ication of single-input multiple output finite-impulse response (SIMO-FIR)
systems. However, a serious drawback of these methods is high sensitivity t
o the order modeling errors. In this contribution, we show that a parametri
c approach of subspace methods, i.e, exploiting the specular structure of t
he propagation channel, is intrinsically robust to channel order overestima
tion.
