Abstract
This paper deals with parameter identification of Hammerstein systems havin g two-segment polynomial nonlinearities. The application of a simple decomp osition technique and using switching sequences provide a special form of a Hammerstein model that is linear-in-parameters. This model is used in an i terative algorithm, enabling simultaneous estimation of all of the model pa rameters, To demonstrate the feasibility of the identification method, more illustrative examples are included.
