In this letter, a timing control algorithm is described, which realizes tim
ing synchronization on direct sequence code-division multiple-access revers
e link. In addition, the uncoded bit-error probability is analytically deri
ved. Numerical results, confirmed bg simulation, show that our synchronous
transmission technique can offer better performance than conventional async
hronous transmission, especially for an exponentially decaying multipath in
tensity profile with a large decay factor.
