Abstract
Excess molar volumes and isobaric excess molar heat capacities for {1,3-dio xolane + 1-butanol, 1-pentanol, 1-hexanol, 1-heptanol, 1-octanol, 1-nonanol , and 1-decanol} and excess molar enthalpies for the binary mixtures {1,3-d ioxolane: + 1-propanol, 1-butanol, 1-pentanol, 1-hexanol, 1-heptanol, 1-oct anol, 1-nonanol, and 1-decanol} at the temperature 298.15 K have been deter mined as a function of mole fraction. The results are discussed in terms of structural changes on mixing and of the nature of intermolecular interacti ons in these solutions.
